TOMORROW'S LEAGUE CRICKET

REVERSES ARE LIKELY IN THE SECOND ROUND

By "RECORDER"

Second round fixturòs in the Cricket League start tomorrow afternoon and may well sec quite a few reverses on first round results. -

The Optimists will be out to avenge their first round defeat by the Army and the Scorpions will be out to re verse their defeat by the University.

The match at Chator Road should be the best of the afternoon. The Optimists will be at full bowling strength, no match to Army's bowlers but, nevertheless, a force to be reckoned with.

In the recent Triangular Tournn- ruent match. Army discovered that with a change in their batting order, they can be expected to reach be tween 150 and 200 runs.

This may prova quite necessary if Steplo doesn't find eight for 17 form. The Army bowling could prove deadly to almost any team but the Optimists. I would be airprised to ace the Optimints out under 120, nu matter Slepto ur Banton.

AT SOOKUNPOO
