Russians Will Ignore Results Of Berlin Elections

Berlin, Dec. 6-The Soviet authorities in Ger- many will ignore the results of the West Berlin municipal election, which they regard as illegal and which will have no effect on the Soviet policy in the city, political circles close to the Soviet military authorities here reported today.

Marshal Vassily Sokolovsky, the Soviet Commander in Chief, was reported by these circles to have stated that the election resulta “might prove an additional ob- atacle to an agreement on the currency and traffic prob- lems of Berlin."
