A New Recording Of
Gounod's "Faust"
Radio Hongkong will observe St Andrew's Day next Tuesday with two special programmes. Appro- priate music suitable to the occasion will be broadcast from 12.30 to 1 p.m., and in the evening at 8.30, the special BBC Transcription Service's feature, “St Andrew's Day," will be put on the air.
"
Lovers of grand opera will be interested in Friday's programme of a new recording of Gounod's "Faust,"
of which acts 1 and 2 will be broadcast, starting at 8.10 p.m. The same evening at 7.30, listeners! can hear another of Wilfrid Pickles "Have a Go."
Saturday Round-Up tonight will introduce listeners to Arthur Lind say, who will talk about an artist in China.
