WING ON GODOWN FIRE INQUIRY.

Film Scrap Moved From One Storage To Another

Evidence regarding the storage of 144 drums of (about 70,000 lbs) film scrap in the Wing On Godown was given by Mr Arthur Ng Sze-sheung, secretary of the Oriental Development Cornoration before the Commission of Inquiry at the Supreme Court this morning.

The witness said that the head office of the Oriental Development Corporation was in Shanghai and it was they, who ordered the film scrap from the United States in September last year. Witness did not see the cargo but he knew that film was highly inflammable. He did not know there were regulations concerning the storage of films in the Colony.
