This is the ninth instalment in the personal revelations of the Soviet school teacher who, to escape being sent back to Russia, jumped from an upper floor of the USSR Consulate in New York this summer. She has already told of the terrors of the Communist re- gime, how she lost her husband' in the Great Purge, and how her only son, Oleg, met his death during World War II.
