WATER CARRIER-A resident carries water through the ruins of Dobiegniewo, Poland. The name of the town, situated in German Pomerania, was changed from Woldenberg when it became Polish territory after World War II. All Germans were sent beyond the new boundary of the Oder River and replaced by Poles, The town was the scene of fierce fighting between Russians and Germans.
