Mutual Trading Said
To Be
Essential
Washington, Aug. 8.-Republican Representa- tive Walter Judd of Minnesota today predicted in an interview with the United Press that "China will willingly resume natural trade with Japan once she is free from the fear of Communism and aggres- sion."
Mr Judd's statement followed the disclosure that the ECA hoped to draw on Japanese industry in the Chinn reconstruction programme. ECA officials sald cautiously thint they are not aiming to restore Japan to a dominant position in the Fur East but said that the policy is simi- lar to the stimulation of trade in Europe and would benefit China equally with Japan.
