GOING SWIMMING?—— A model exhibits “modified" diaper- bathing suit during the fashion show at a swank cafo in Venice, Italy. Patrons seemed to favour the special feature in place of the mera con- -servative "business man's lunch."

HUMAN CHESS-A chess tournament that began in Rouen five months ago was dramatically concluded when townspeople donned ancient costumes and employed horses to enact each move in the final game. In the court of the Cathedral do Rouen, these human chessmen move in conjunction with the moves of the two final contestants.

five-year-old baboon, is put back into her cage after she had spent a half-hour overturning cages, freeing a canary and starting a dog fight. She got out of her cago in a Philadelphia pet shop and led attendants in 'n merry chase until she was finally captured.
