Stars Val Gielgud And Fay

Compton

· Highlight of next week's ŻBW programmes is the BBC presentation of Clemence. Dane's notable play, "Will Shakespeare."

Starring roles will be played by Fay Compton and Val Gielgud.

Clemenco Dane ndied greatly to her reputation as a Strangely enough, dramatist with "Will Shakespeare."

the world's greatest writer of plays inspired very few plays about himself, and this one, in which Miss Dane brings together Shakespeare's treatment of Anne Hathway, hla love for Mary Fitton, the "Dark Lady." and the killing of Marlowe, ranks high among them.

Mary Fitton is played by Shakespeare and Compton

Gielgud.

This play will be on the air at 8.30 nox! Wednesday.

A second attraction is the radlo adaptation of a ghost story which will broadcast from o'clock next Friday,

ZBW at

"The Haunted Inn" is a straight- forward title for a ghost story that Is also straightforward-up to a point, Then, however, it develops a twist, and the tale of what happened to a matter-of-fact Innkeeper and his highly-strung wife has a decidedly unusual ending to it.

Charles Leno, a BBC Repertory Company stalwart plays the Inn- keeper.

Ifere are the full programmes for the week.
