London, June 13.-Britain is preparing to repeal scores of ancient laws which, though obsolete, still make every day thousands of her people technical law breakers.

Despite his reputation as one of the world's most law-abiding citizens, every Briton is prob- ably an unwitting and unwill- ing offender according to the letter of the Statute Book.
