TEL-AVIV QUIET

Jerusalem, Apr. 29.-The British Military Commander in Jaffa tonight ordered a cease-fire in the Jewish-Arab battle for the town after a warning to the Jewish Agency by the Palestine Government. The Jewish forces withdrew into the Arab Man- shich quarter separating Jaffa and Tel-Aviv, along the waterfront. The British Commissioner in Tel-Aviv sat in on the truce talks, which brought the four-day Jewish attack on the Arab city to a temporary end.
