A profit of $1,137,071 over book value made by the sale of factory buildings and land in Kowloon owned by the Hongkong Repo Manufacturing Co., Ltd., was re- ported by the Chairman. Dir L. Kadoorie, at the 59th Ordinary Yearly Meeting of the Company held in their offices, Chung. Tin Building this morning. He added that one million dollars of this had been left on mortgage, la accordance with the terms of sate, at a satisfactory rate of interest. That it was the intention of the 26 Directors to rehabilitate the totally louted flats of the Company during the current year was also reported.
