DOCUMENTS REMOVED FROM BRITAIN'S ROME EMBASSY
London, Dec. 8.—An Italian servant removed documents from the British Embassy and handed them over to the Italian authorities over a considerable period before the war, Mr Hector McNeil, Minister of State, disclosed in the House of Commons today.
He was describing as "inaccurate" the allegations of Dr Kurt Von Schuschnigg, Chancellor of Austria when Hitler marched in, that Italy had All the access to the secret files of the British Foreign Office before the war. allegations were made in the book "Austrian Requiem," written by Dr. Schuschnigg, who is now in the United States.
