EGYPT'S CHOLERA EPIDEMIC
CONTINUES UNABATED
S
Cairo, Sept. 29-The "vomiting hysterics" today hit a lot of Egyptians in fear of cholera, the first symptom of which is vomiting. Ali Tewfik Shousha Pasha, Under-Secretary of State for Public Health, pointed out that such cases usually cropped up during cholera epidemics because of the psychological effect on the population. Vicious-tempered officials in tha health centres of Cairo are full of unkind remarks on this .subject. They complain that hundreds of citizens call them specially in the middle of the night because they "caught cholera" when it was u simple
