Batavia, Aug. 7.-Indonesia today accepted the United States. Government's offer of "good offices" in seeking a solution of the dispute between the Dutch and the Indonesian Republic.

The Indonesian acceptance, broadcast over the Repub lican-controlled Jogjakarta Radio, came three days after the "cense fire" agreed on by both sides in the latest out- break of fighting and a week after the United Nations Security Council had appealed to both sides to lay down their arms.
