Britain To Cut Petrol,

Tobacco, Films

And Newsprint Imports

London, June 30.

Britain is to reduce her imports of tobacco, petrol, newsprint and films in order to meet the increasingly grave exchange situation. This was announced by Dr Hugh Dalton, Chancellor of the Exchequer in an important statement to the House of Commóns today.
