REFUGEE DOCTORS

London; June 19..

The London Star said to- day that the British Govern- ment was considering the Introduction shortly of new legislation which might allow many of the thou- sands of refugee doctors now practising in Britain to remain in the country,

The Star said that those doctors who could satisfy the authorities that they had a good case for staying would probably be allowed to do so on their names being entered on the per- manent register.

The paper said that some of the doctors were already working as general practi tioners while others were

The King had a telephone talk Mr Winston Churchlil. Admiral with Keyes urged him to go with him to England, but the King preferred to stay with his people, the documents said.
