The Singapore authorities have ordered Mr G. Magan Lal, an Indian business- man, to leave the country within thirty days.
He was imprisoned in Outram Road Caol for six months in 1945 before charges of extorting money from Indians for the Indian Independence League was withdrawn.
Magan Lal went to India and returned to Singapore last April.
