If ever new tyranny should menace all or part of the world, "we are assured in advance that France and the United States will be in agreement to oppose it," declared General Charles de Gaulle, former leader of the Free French movement, in a specch here to-day in the presence of the United States Ambassador to France, Mr A. Jefferson Caffery.
