This Evening For The First Time

N interesting innovation will be made from ZBW at 6.30 this evening when the first plastic transcription (recorded programme) to be received by the station will be broad- cast. A 15-minute feature, it is produced by the National Broadcasting Company and is a programme starring the Music Hall Varioties Orchestra, with Irving Kaufman (baritone).

Many old favourite tunes are in- cluded in this quarter-hour of song and music.
