A man who saved his wife was drowned with their child at Sharp- brook, Bedfordshire, recently,

Altogether five people three adults and two children-lost their lives through · the · espsizing of a motor-driven punt on the River Ouse.

They belonged to two families living at Finedon-road. - Welling= borough, Northants.

The victims were Mi Sydney Harold Waterfeld, aged 44, and his son Babble, 7; and Air Roland Her- bert Coles, 40, his wife, Gwendoline, 30, and their daughter Patricio, 5.
