Oppression Campaign By Japanese Army

CHUNGKING, Sept. 14 (UP)—It is announced that an un- precedented extension of the oppression campaign is being con- ducted by 100,000 Japanese and mercenary troops in North China against the Shansi, Hopei and Charhar border district which is administered by the Eighteenth Group army.

It is said that the campaign

started on August 14 and is
