CHUNGKING, (UP).The newly created Ministry of Food is at present exerting all efforts to cope with the nation's most fundamental problem-the food problem.

"All the rice in China" may not be enough for the Chinese people. At least, passing it around is one of the hardest jobs in the world, with some of the key transportation arteries cut by the Japanese and with a war going on.
