ONE ISSUE TO BE
STOPPED
LONDON, Aug. 7 (Reuter).-Cer- tain technical changes are announced in the Treasury's war borrowing. After August 14, the present issue of two and a half per cent, national war bonds, 1946-48, now totalling some £400,000,000, will be discontinued.
The issue of three per cent. saving bands, 1055-65, will continue sub- stantially unchanged,
Thus the Treasury will revert to use earlier practice of relying solely on one,
one market issue.
