Text-Books A Glance

As the result of recommendations of the Textbook Com- mittee set up during the past year, the Education Department has issued to all English schools in the Colony a compreliensive list of books which are recommended,or permitted to be used.

As from September 1942, the use of textbooks not on the Re- commended or Permitted lists. will not be allowed.

Schools desiring any modification A of the Hats are requested to forward their application, together with one copy of each boolt concerned, to the Secretary of the Textbook Committee.
