U.A. and A.H. Rumjahn Defeated
WHATEVER the tactical errors, the Open Pairs match at the Civil Service C.C. last night in which the champions, H. Alves and F. V. V. Ribeiro, beat U. A. and A. H. Rumjahn 28-27 was one of the most exciting of the tournament to date.

B. W. Bradbury's Return Makes All The Difference
Recreio's Fourth Defeat
THERE SEEMS HARDLY ANY doubt now that Craigengowor C.C. will annox the First Divi- sion League championship which they last won in 1936. Following the defeat of Recreio "A" last wook by the Police and their own clean-sweep success over Kowloon C.C., the Happy Valley men are in an almost unassailable position.
And if Craigengower do win the championship, they will| have fully deserved it. For look at their record to date. After losing the opening match of the season to Recreio "A" at 'King's Park by four points to one-by only one shot on aggregate-they have won 39 points out of the next possible 40! A great performance indeed.
The return of B. W. Bradbury to the team has made all the

Rumjahn played one of the finest Loses on Points
