In the face of a hail of bullets from 200 hosille tribesmen acting as fron- iler guards, a Swordfish plane from Gibraltar, rescued the

The Swordfish was sent out to find the bomber which was spotted and seen to have burnt out. The pilot circled round for ten minutes to Investigate and saw 200 tribesmen grouped around the bomber and the crew farther off.

The Swordfish bore bullet marks when it returned to Gibraltor with the crew unhurt.
