BW. Bradbury's Return Makes All The Difference

Recreio's Fourth Defeat.

THERE, SEEMS Hardly ANY doubt now that Craigengower C.C. will annex the First Divi- sion League championship which they last won in 1936. Following the defeat of Recreio “A” last week by the Police and their own clean-swcep success over Kowloon C.C., the Happy Valloy men are in an almost unassailable position.

And if Craigengower do win the championship, they will have fully deserved it. For look at their record to date. After losing the opening match of the season to Recreio "A" at King's Park by four points to one-by only one shot on aggregate they have won 39 points out of the next possible 401 A great performance indeed.

U. M. Omar, with three front men of the calibre of A. M. Omar, K. M. Omar and R. Basa, has not yet lost a match in the League, while Cral- Cengawer's third skip, G. S. Rosselet, has lost only twice, both times while Playing away.

have a confession to make.

On Saturday morning, I was asked by the man who drew Ticket No. 192 in the sweep-which won the first prize on Kowloon Docka-what I thought of the chances of the ticket winning one of the three big prizes. "Not a hope," I sald.

Was my face red when I heard that the ticket had carried off the first prize? I'll my it was!

It was a good bit of work, though, on the part of the Docks to win by 40 shots, They were up on all rinks and their five points liave put them on level terms with their opponents of last week with 134 points each nt the bottom of the League Table.
