Count Paul Teleki, Hungarinn Prime Minister, committed suicide last night. Servants discovered his body in his room when they went to wake him this morning.
In a letter found beside the body Teleki said he did not feel able to carry on his diflicult and unhappy task.

First announcement of his death said he had died from heart failure and an euphatle denial was given to first reports that he had committed sul- Cide The efforts were unsuccessful, and the news has caused a profound impression throughout the country.
Reports that Teleki's wife had also died were denied, but It was ad- mitted she was gravely ill in hospital following an accident; the nature of which was not stated.
