DOG BITES BOY Owner Pays Fine

Mr RF: Phillips of No. 13 Hill- wood Road, first floor, was fined $5 by Mr D. J. N. Anderson at Kowloon Magistracy to-day after he was convicted on a summons of allowing his black and white fox terrier to wonder at large without either being on a lead or with a muzzle.

Marcus da Silva said that on February 12 at 7.30 p.m. he was with six or seven other boys in Hill- wood Rood when a white fox terrier bit him on the left leg.

Carlos da Luz said that, he had been with Silva. The dog had come from No. 13 Hillwood Road. He knew that the dog-belonged to Mr Phillips.

Denying the charge. Mr. Phillips that he had not been well that day and had gone to bed immediately he arrived home from the Kowloon Bowling Green Club at 7 pm. His fox terrier jumped into the bed and remained there from 7:10 pm. until
