Lloyds reported to-day that British, Allied and neutral ship losses during the first 18 months of the European war lotated nearly 6,000,000 tonn. The number of ships lost, it added, wag 1,245.

The famous association of English underwriters of marine Insurance also reported that Italo-German Axis controlled chipping losses were 422 vessels totaling 2,000,000 tons dur- Ing the same period of time,
