The moon entered the penumbra ni 6.38 p.n., and the umbre at 0.53, and was partially obscured for two hours, the middle of the eclipse being at 7.65. The moon left the umbra at 8.50 and the penumbra at 9.13.
The moon was well above the horizon at the middle of the eclipse but could not be seen from Hongkong because of the thick clouds,.
