The heaviest sentences yet passed for looting were given recently to two Portsmouth polleemen. Each was ordered 10 years' penal servitude.

LONDON, Feb. 23 (Reuter). A strong force of German fighters and bombers invaded the skies over the Straits of Dover this afternoon following: Saturday's patrol activities and small-scale daylight raids on south-cast England,
