Professor Li estimates that his fuel! can be produced at a cost of about $8 or $10 (Chinese) per gallon, whereas naturat masoline costs $20 per gallon.

The one real drawback seems to be that the new fuel takes a monthl to produce. Professor Li is seeking1

new method of production which will enable manufacture in less time. To date the artifelal fuel has not been produced commercially, only hi laboratorics.
