Mr.A. D. Brankston Passes On

The death occurred at the Queen Mary Hospital yesterday after a long Illness of Mr. A. D. (Archio) Brank- ston, former surveyor of the Shing Mun Dam and an expert on Chinese art.

Mr Drankston was the son of Mr A. B. Brankston, formerly Managing Director of the Now Engineering Co. of Shanghai, He was educated at Brighton College, England, and after- wards at the Imperial College of Selanco and Technology, where he trok the London University degree in elvil engineering. He retumed to the Far East in 1933, where he worked as a surveyor on the Shing Mun Dami
