Mr. J. McKelvic, Vice-President of the Bowling Green Club welcomed the guests. After the game Mr. L. C. F. Bellamy, President of St. George's Society, congratulated the winners and Mr. B. Wylfe, President of St Androw's Society, aultably replied. Mr. Wylle also thanked the ladies of both Societies who had taken care of the tea arrangements, and called upon Mr. A. C. Jefferies to take silver spoons to be distributed amongst them as souvenirs of the occasion.

Mr. Wylle's rink scored a convincing victory over Mr. Bellamy's rink, which lust by 7-38. Rinks skipped by Mears. Rakusen and Sherriff were the only ones that won for St. George's.

Now Baptial Chapel-A large atten- dance was present at the Inauguration of the new Church and Church House of the Chinese Baptist Mission in Kow- loon City to-day, when H. E. the Acting Governor. Lt-General E. F. Norton performed the opening ceremony.

His Excellency was met by the Rt Rev. R. O. Hall, Bishop of Hongkong and Rev. Chiu. Sze-cheung, and con- ducted through the school building and Church House and then to the front of the Church, where the choir sang = hymn followed by a short prayer by Mr Chiu. The key of the church was then handed to His Excellency, who inter opened the door.

The Church is of modern design and of impressive almplicity. Inside, the main lobby is spacious, with the baptistry on. the right and a stairway leading to two galleries on the left of the entrance porch.

The Church contains 23 rows of pewa accommodating about 300 people. Ime mediately in front is the Sanctuary and behind that is the immersion font with dressing rooms, and to the right is the Sacristy with a spare room at the left.

The Church House is, wall constructed and includes the Pastor's quarters with servants quarters at the back. The remaining three stories of the building will be devoted, to class rooms.
