From experience gained after three months of the heaviest and most sustained series of bombing attacks ever launched on a city, the guns and searchlights in the London area are being re- grouped.

As their numbers have been increased, new tactics have been employed to mini- mise the weight of the enemy attack.

One evidence of changed methods is the great volume: of light which now floods the night sky.

The new light, which is white, appears to come from the ground, and is spread along the |horizon, silhouetting the outlines
