IS SOBERED BY R.A.F. EXPLOITS

Three reasons for the full are advanced; they are all speculations, but one or more have some basis in facts.
Not a little exhausted by four months of continuous day and night raiding over the Channel, Germany may be conserving the strength of her air force for a dramatic new blow against Britain, here or in another theatre of war.
British Guns Roar

Two other reasons find more immediate favour, however. Pro- bably inter-related, they are the. Royal Air Force's eight-hour hammering of Luftwaffe bases in occupied territory on Friday night, and weather conditions Jover the continent.
