HANOI, Dec. 1 (UP).—Indo-China and Thailand edged slightly closer towards war to-day when the authorities here reported a twenty-minute air battle above the Mekong River village of Thakek, while French forces carried out retaliatory measures against Thailand, following the bombings of November 28 and 30.
