'In Great Peril Now'

"THE UNITED STATES IS IN AS GREAT PERIL TO-DAY AS FRANCE WAS A YEAR AGO,” DECLARED MR. WILLIAM BULLITT, U.S. AMBASSADOR TO FRANCE, IN A DRAMATIC WARNING TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

1

Mr. Bullitt, in his first public survey of the international situation since his return to America last month, said his conviction was drawn from his own experience, and from information in the hands of the U.S. Govern- ment.

Storing British Wool In The United States

Boston will receive a large share, perhaps the major amount, of a record war shipment of 250,000,000 pounds of wool from Australia and New Zealand which the British Government will ship to the United States this Winter for safekeeping. This will be the greatest amount of wool ever shipped to America-from- Britain's "down ander" possessions.

Some of Boston's share will come in ships sailing directly from Australia and New Zealand: The remainder will be landed at Pacific Coast ports and sent across the country by rail.
