THE BATTING in the two senior division games on Saturday last was, though patchy, rather too good for the mediocre bowling that is all that oxists in the Colony at present. Making all allowances for a natural tondency to magnify the doings of my own contemporarios, I think it is true to say that there were then quite as many bowlers of the standard we have to-day and be- sides that there were two or three always who were far better than anything wo now have.
