NEW YORK, Nov. 8 (Reuter) President Roosevelt's majority on the popular vote had climbed to over 4.30 p.m. Now York 4,000,000 by time.

There was no change in the pro- spective electoral votes.

By 4.45 p.m., 245 Democrats had been elected to the House of Repre sentatives and 140 Republicans, had have been elected., The Democrats now picked up 22 seats.

The state of the Senate was 21 Democrats elected, ten Repulicans and one progressive.

This is a net turnover of two for the Republicans.
