Billiards And Snooker Championships
Plans H.K. Association
For Coming Season
(By "Tinker")
THERE ARE FEW people in the Colony who have not, or do not, play billiards, and because of this it is estim- ated that if all players were members of the Hongkong Billiards Association (which I suppose they are more or
less through their respective Clubs) the latter body should
vie with the Football Association in size.
Yet the activities of the Association are placed very much in the background in comparison with the other games here. They certainly haven't courted the publicity that should be theirs.

J. Marques Accused Of Deliberate Obstruction In Cross-Harbour Race
EXONERATED BY COMMITTEE
A SPECIAL COMMITTEE met yesterday at the V.R.C. to consider an unprecedented protest from South China Athletic Association alleging that J. The protest was dismissed and Marques completely exonerated.
