J. Marques Accused Of Deliberate Obstruction In Cross-Harbour Race

A SPECIAL COMMITTEE met yesterday at the V.R.C. to consider an unprecedented protest from South China Athletic Association alleging that J. The protest was dismissed and Marques completely exonerated...

The answer lies in the fact that billiarda and snooker, as maintained in the Colony, have been practically confined to the few occasions, have Inter-Club games been played.
Billards and The Steel Coulson much as could be done to bring the Snooker League is done muchas Clubs Into claser contact, but there is, I think, even much more that could
be done.
There is one thing that the A- sociation is doing and that is re- Colony Cham- viving the annual pionships. They are being con- Eldered, and will most probably be run toward the end of the present season which has just commenced.
There was quite some interest in these competitions when they were held in previous years, and it is sur→ ullowed prising that they were ever to relapse.
