EVACUEES TO TRAVEL TO AUSTRALIA
A British ship of about 4,000 tons, which arrived in Hongkong yester doy, has had part of its accuminoda- i tion requisitioned by the Hongkong Government for the evacuation to Australia of women and children who have arrived in the Colony from North China, and for other British women and children at pre- sent in Manilo.
The steamer is on the regular Hongkong-Australia run, her agents being Mesars. G. S. Yuill and Co., of Sydney. The steamer will remain under the management of her Hong- kong agents, Messrs.
