KING PRAISES HEROISM OF POLISH AIRMEN

September 5, 1940,

LONDON, Sept. 4 (Reuter).-The heroism of the Polish army, navy and air force and the "stirring feats of Polish airmen in the air battles over England" are, praised in a telegram sent by the King to Raczkiewicz, President of the Polish Republic.

This telegram was sent in acknowledgment of a message from President Raczkiewicz on the first anniversary of Britain's entry into the war.

Lloyd's are starting a fund for men of the R.A.F. and their dependents in gratitude for their unbelievably auccessful exploits.
