ORDINATION

Eight deacons were raised to the priest. hood last Friday, in the Catholic Cathedral, by Blahop Valtorta.

The now Hongkong priests are:_Frs. Thomas Yu Wing-hing, Stephen Lam Tast- chi, Anthony Chau To-man and John Wong Yung-mook. The Salesians who were or- dained aro: Frs. Francis Wong, John Clifford, Covardus Roozon and Peter Urbaitis.

A large number of clergy assisted the Bishop in the solemn ceremony, which lasted from 7 until 9.30 a.m. The Cathedral was filled with a congregation which included a great many relatives and friends of the newly- ordained priests. The three Ming Yuen plc- tures show stages of the ceremony.
