LONDON, Aug. 18 (Reuter).-In a one-day match at Lord's in aid of the British Red Cross, Sir Pelham ("Plum") Warner's XI defeated a Club Cricket Con- ference XI by three wickets. The winning team included two heroes of the Dunkirk evacuation-Capt. J. W. A. Stephenson, the Essex all-rounder, and John Robertson, the Middlesex batsman,-and Pilot Officer-Reg Taylor, another Essex country player.
