SNAKES ARE BEGINNING to offer, fresh hazards at the Country Club, Shoungshiu, and in the interests of golfers thoro I made a fow on quiries from our nature expert anent the reptilos. Rain, it seems, has drivon them out of their holes and nests, and I can sympathise with the snakes to a certain extent in their apprehension over drowning. 1 paddled down the course last Sun- day and only touched dry ground when I reached the-greens.
