THE TELEGRAPH LEARNED FROM GOVERNMENT SOURCES TO-DAY THAT AMONG THE MANY CONSIDERATIONS WHICH PROMPTED THE DECISION TO SEND WOMEN OUT OF THE COLONY WAS THE DESIRE TO BE READY FOR ALL EMERGENCIES, INCLUDING THE VERY RE MOTE POSSIBILITY OF HOSTILITY.
